Jeevitam HealthTech Private Limited (“Jeevitam”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates a mobile-first web application that offers a 14-day free yoga program starting every Monday, followed by paid access. We integrate the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API for sign-up verification (OTP), reminders, and customer support. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use our services.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to the practices described here.


1) Who we are & applicability

  • Data Fiduciary / Controller: Jeevitam HealthTech Private Limited.
  • Applies to: Our websites (jeevitam.yoga | jeevitamwellness.com), web application, WhatsApp communications, and related serverless APIs we host (e.g., on Vercel).
  • Not covered: Third-party platforms we link to or embed (e.g., YouTube Live, Meta/WhatsApp). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

2) The data we collect

a) Information you provide

  • Identity & contact: Name, mobile number (E.164 format).
  • Verification: One-time passwords (OTP) sent via WhatsApp (we store only hashed/derived values).
  • Preferences: Session time preferences (6AM, 7AM, 8AM, 6PM, 7PM), communication settings, language.
  • Support messages: Content you send to us over WhatsApp or web forms.
  • Payment status: After your trial, we store whether you are on a paid plan (no card details today; payment gateway integration may be added later).

b) Data created by your use of the service

  • Personal tracking through app login.
  • Attendance & progress: Date, session slot joined, time you clicked your personal link, and redirect success.
  • Cohort timing: Trial start (next Monday, IST) and trial end (+14 days).
  • Logs & diagnostics: Server logs (timestamps, IP address, user agent), message delivery status (WhatsApp message IDs and error codes).

c) Data from third parties

  • WhatsApp: Delivery receipts and inbound messages from the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API.
  • YouTube: We redirect you to unlisted YouTube Live links; YouTube/Google may collect additional data per their policy.
  • Infrastructure providers: Limited technical/diagnostic data from hosting and database vendors.

We do not collect precise clinical/medical records. Your “health data” here relates to wellness activity (attendance, session choices) and any wellness preferences you voluntarily share with us.


3) Why we process your data (purposes)

  • Account & authentication: Sign-up, OTP verification, creating your unique progress link.
  • Service delivery: Scheduling cohorts, sending reminders 30 minutes before each selected session, redirecting to unlisted YouTube sessions, tracking attendance and 14-day progress.
  • Customer support: Responding to your WhatsApp messages/queries and resolving issues.
  • Improvement & safety: Debugging, analytics, preventing misuse, ensuring service reliability.
  • Legal & compliance: Responding to lawful requests, enforcing terms, safeguarding rights.
  • Post-trial engagement: Notifying you about plan activation, expiring trials, and program updates (you can opt out of non-essential messages).

4) Legal basis & consent (India)

We primarily rely on your consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) for:

  • creating your account,
  • delivering reminders and updates on WhatsApp,
  • tracking your 14-day progress through your personal link,
  • post-trial engagement messages that are not strictly necessary to provide the service.

Where permitted, we may also process data for legitimate uses such as prevention of fraud, troubleshooting, or compliance with legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 10). Withdrawal does not affect past lawful processing but may limit service functionality (e.g., no reminders, no progress tracking).


5) How we share data

We share personal data only as needed to operate and improve the service:

  • Service providers / processors:
    • Meta (WhatsApp Business Cloud API) – messaging, OTP, delivery reports.
    • MongoDB Atlas – database hosting and backups.
    • Vercel – hosting our web front-end and serverless APIs.
    • YouTube/Google – content delivery for live sessions you join.
    • (Future) Payment gateway – when paid plans are enabled.
  • Corporate/legal: Compliance with law, responding to lawful requests, protecting our rights, safety, and users.

We do not sell personal data. We require processors to follow appropriate confidentiality, security, and data protection commitments.


6) International data transfers

Our providers may process data in locations outside India. Where applicable, we implement reasonable safeguards (contractual and technical) consistent with the DPDP Act and other applicable laws.


7) Data retention

  • Account profile (name, mobile, slug): Kept while the account is active and for up to 24 months after last activity, unless you request deletion earlier.
  • OTP records: Hashed OTP + metadata retained for ≤ 90 days for audit and abuse prevention.
  • Attendance/progress logs: Retained for 24 months after trial end or subscription expiry to support analytics and program improvement.
  • Message logs (meta only): WhatsApp message IDs/status retained ≤ 24 months.
  • Server logs: Typically ≤ 180 days unless required longer for security investigations.

We may retain limited records to comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.


8) Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), role-based access, hashed OTP storage, environment-scoped credentials, and least-privilege access to databases. No method is 100% secure; if we become aware of a data breach that risks your rights, we will follow applicable legal requirements for notification.


9) Cookies & tracking

Our mobile-first web app may use essential cookies/local storage for session state and rate-limiting. If we enable analytics, we will use aggregated, minimal data consistent with this Policy and provide an opt-out where required.


10) Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act), you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and know how it’s processed.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase personal data (subject to legal/contractual limits).
  • Withdraw consent for future processing.
  • Grievance redressal and escalation to the Data Protection Board of India, where applicable.

11) Special notes on features

  • Personal tracking link: Your link includes your name (kebab-case) and the last 4 digits of your mobile number. Treat it like a key; do not share publicly. Anyone with the link could use it to mark attendance and access the YouTube redirect for that day’s session. Ask us if you want your slug regenerated.
  • YouTube “unlisted” sessions: Unlisted links are accessible to anyone who has them and are governed by YouTube/Google’s policies.
  • WhatsApp messaging window & templates: We may use approved template messages (e.g., OTP, reminders) and may respond to your inbound WhatsApp messages to provide support and record attendance confirmations.
  • Age: Our program is intended for adults (18+). If you are under 18, a parent/guardian must consent and supervise use. If we learn we collected data from a minor without appropriate consent, we’ll delete it.

We aim to acknowledge your request within 7 days and resolve within 30 days, or as required by law.


13) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via the app, our website, or WhatsApp. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.


14) Additional disclosures (admin portal)

Access to admin.jeevitam.yoga is restricted. Admin actions are authenticated and logged (including IP, timestamp, route). Admins must comply with internal data handling policies, confidentiality obligations, and least-privilege practices.


15) Summary (plain-language recap)

  • We collect name + mobile to create your account, send WhatsApp OTPs and reminders, generate your personal link, and track your 14-day progress.
  • We store your data in MongoDB Atlas, host on Vercel, send messages via WhatsApp Cloud API, and redirect you to YouTube Live for sessions.
  • You can access/correct/delete data and withdraw consent. We don’t sell your data. We keep it secure and only as long as needed.
  • Don’t share your personal link. Unlisted YouTube sessions are governed by YouTube policies.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

For International buyers, orders are shipped and delivered through registered international courier companies and/or International speed post only. For domestic buyers, orders are shipped through registered domestic courier companies and /or speed post only. Orders are shipped within Not Applicable or as per the delivery date agreed at the time of order confirmation and delivering of the shipment subject to Courier Company / post office norms. JEEVITAM HEALTHTECH PRIVATE LIMITED is not liable for any delay in delivery by the courier company / postal authorities and only guarantees to hand over the consignment to the courier company or postal authorities within Not Applicable rom the date of the order and payment or as per the delivery date agreed at the time of order confirmation. Delivery of all orders will be to the address provided by the buyer. Delivery of our services will be confirmed on your mail ID as specified during registration.
